Tremendous! I made a low carb version too, without crackers and using LC ketchup. I pulverized the onion in a food processor, and used a grease removing loaf pan.
I used 12 oz honey, 1/4 c brown sugar, 1 stick butter, 1/2 t ground cloves for a 10 lb ham with little left. Unbelievable!!
I used 6 lbs of potatoes for 10 servings. Before baking, I poked holes with a fork and poured about 1/3 cup milk on the top and a few pats of butter as was suggested. These were fantastic!
We brought this to a Christmas party and it was the most popular dish there by far!
Excellent! I used 20 drops of green and 2t of vanilla since the kiddies don't care for almond. We shaped them into "dragon claws" for a dragon-themed party. We just pointed the tips instead of using nuts. Wish I had a picture but they were eaten too quickly!
Excellent compliment to my BBQ pork. It doesn't mask the smokey flavor.
