I'm very fortunate that I have plenty of friends and family who will try everything I make, and I'm constantly using them as my guinea pigs, even on my wild experiments! I have lived in many different areas of the US and Canada and thus been able to learn various regional styles of cooking. Born and raised in Canada in a French Canadian family, I grew up eating a lot of traditional French Canadian foods. My parents have always inspired me to try new things, so you're likely to find me playing around with new ingredients or trying new restaurants. HUGE PET PEEVE: overcooked food!!! There's nothing worse than mushy vegetables and dried-out meat.
