  • 1. In a large skillet or dutch oven over medium heat cook bacon OR andouille sausage until brown and a little crisp.

  • 2. Remove from dutch oven or skillet and transfer to a plate. There will be some drippings from left in the skillet.

  • 3. Add 1 to 2 tablespoons of oil or butter to the pan.

  • 4. Add shrimp and season with Cajun spices. Cook shrimp for 3-4 minutes. Remove from dutch oven and aside.

  • 5. Add green onions, red bell pepper and garlic. Sauté for 2 minutes.

  • 6. Add broth adjusting to your taste.

  • 7. Add sausage back into the skillet/ pot and drippings.

  • 8. Add shrimp.

  • 9. Adjust seasoning to taste.
