I liked the recipe...it was simple, not a lot of ingredients and easy to make. However, the recipe was not clear on whether this was a frozen drink or to be served over ice...it was not clear on the use of ice. Also I wasn't real sure what to do with the blueberries. The 1st batch I made according to recipe. The second batch, I made a watermelon basil simple syrup and I added a splash of watermelon liquor.
I've made grilled corn many times but, never with cajun spices...this was definitely a treat and will make it again.
Great combination of flavors...I will definitely make it again. I made the following changes: Cooked chorizo in skillet first so I could get the flavor from the fat rendered. Removed sausage from skillet, then I added the onions while I zapped the sweet potatoes in microwave for 7 minutes. Once onions were cooked for 3 minutes, I added the sweet potatoes - cooked them for another 5 minutes, added the chorizo back into the skillet.
I loved the flavor but, they didn't look like caramel apples...they look like glazed apples instead. I didnt make any changes.
I luved this recipe because, it only required 3 eggs total vs others that require 6 eggs. I am not a big egg person which is why I liked this recipe. I didn't change anything nor did I add any of the fresh herbs...next time I will add the fresh herbs.
The flavor was great...the only thing I did different was omitting the onions.
It was easy to make not a lot of ingredients and it was delish. The only thing I did different was I used creme de cacao dark.
This was my 1st time ever making a cake from scratch. The recipe was easy to follow, not too many ingredients and it was super moist. The only thing different was I used unsweetened coca powder and I did not add additional sugar as the recipe suggested.
My family luved this recipe. I did make a few changes. I used black beans instead of pinto beans. And I cut corn tortillas in strips and placed on top in stead of cutting into bite size pieces and mixing into the egg/chorizo mixture
I enjoyed the freshness that came from the lemon-lime soda. I did make the following changes: 1. I used fresh squeezed lime juice vs. rose's lime. 2. Agave vs. Triple Sec 3. No ice. 4. Topped with lemon lime soda vs. shaking it in the shaker.
