A delicious and fresh tasting pasta sauce. The fresh basil added at the end is essential.I also recommend using good quality canned tomatoes; it is worth the extra money. This sauce can be left chunky (which I prefer) or blended in a food processor to a smooth sauce. This sauce gets better the next day so if you can make it a day ahead, all the better
