I love this bread!!! I did change the sugar to 1c. white and 1c. brown. That was the only thing I changed and it is super dense and super moist and delicious!!!

I tried this recipe and it is awesome! I didn't use as much fudge topping and I used mostly butter with a little shortening and it is really good. If your icing is too thin you need to add more powered sugar! I have seen so many people saying the icing was running off the sides?? If you notice it is too think you need to add more sugar! If it is too thick add a few drops of milk until it thins it enough to spread. My came out perfect. Thanks for the recipe!

I have made this for the past 8 years for holidays and love it. I will say I have never added sour cream before. This is awesome without it. I would imagine it might be good with it but I don't need the extra calories. I tastes really good without it. I will say that I have added finely chopped green bell pepper in the past but I usually use regular onion. I also think this would taste really good with a little bacon crumbled into it! I'm going to try that next!
These sandwiches were a huge hit at a party I attended! Everyone wanted the recipe! You cannot go wrong! I was leery of poppy seeds and the ingredients in the sauce but it was really good!
