I halved this recipe to try as a pre-test for Thanksgiving. I could never get my kids to eat corn until now. They loved it. I used a tad less sugar as suggested and it came out perfect. I can't wait for my guests to enjoy it on Turkey day...Thanks!

THIS WERE SOOOO GOOOOD!! I ALSO PREPARED THE NIGHT BEFORE AND LET THE BROWN SUGAR SOAK IN BEFORE I BAKED. THE FIRST BATCH I MADE I COULDN'T STOP EATING THEM, SO I HAD TO WRAP THEM UP AND GIVE TO MY PARENTS TO TRY. THEY LOVED IT. FOR MY DAUGHTER'S 5TH BIRTHDAY PARTY, I BOUGHT THE PARTY SIZE OF THE LITTLE SMOKIES. THE GUESTS INCLUDING THE KIDS LOVED THEM AS WELL. THANKS FOR THE DELICOUSLY EASY RECIPE!!!
I altered the recipe as suggested and used o'brien potatoes instead. I also used cream of mushroom soup and maple sausage instead of ham. I did not use the parmesan cheese. I made this for Christmas morning breakfast and everyone ate seconds and complimented immensely. Thanks!

THIS WAS SOOOO GOOD! I MADE THIS FOR CHRISTMAS MORNING BRUNCH AND THIS WAS PERFECT W/ BISCUITS (I USED THE FROZEN BRIDGEFORD BRAND). THE ONLY THING I CHANGED WAS I ADDED A DASH OF SEASONING SALT. THANKS, I WILL DEFINITELY MAKE THIS AGAIN!
I FOLLOWED THE INSTRUCTIONS EXACTLY AND THIS CAME OUT VERY GOOD! I PREPARED HALF THE CHICKEN W/ SKIN AND HALF WITHOUT AND BOTH WERE DELICIOUS. MY THREE CHILDREN ASKED FOR SECONDS AND THIRDS. THANKS FOR THE GREAT RECIPE, WILL MAKE AGAIN AND NEXT TIME I WILL TRY REDUCED FAT MAYO.
THIS WAS AN EXCELLENT RECIPE. MY FAMILY RANTED AND RAVED ALL EVENING. THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME MAKING A PEACH COBBLER BY SCRATCH. THE ONLY ALTERATIONS I MADE WAS I USED HALF THE SUGAR AND USED BUTTER SHORTENING, IT GAVE THE CRUST EXTRA FLAVOR. I ALSO ADDED A LITTLE VANILLA AND I DIDN'T USE ALL OF THE JUICE WHEN I ADDED MY PEACHES TO THE CRUST. WHEN I TOOK IT OUT OF THE OVEN, IT WAS PICTURE PERFECT. I have been making this recipe for the past 5 years and it comes out perfect every time. I even tried using broken jasmine rice that I had handy and it came out even better than using the medium grain rice. Yummy! I also add a little extra sugar/vanilla to suit my taste.
This is the first recipe I tried on this website that I thought was just "all right". I guess based on all the reviews and the name of the recipe, I thought it would be extra special...not..sorry
IN 2 WEEKS, I MADE THIS RECIPE FIVE TIMES SO MY ENTIRE FAMILY CAN TASTE IT. I MADE IT WITH WHEAT, WHITE, BUT THE BEST IS FRENCH BREAD. I BREAK APART ALMOST A HALF A LOAF AND THE CONSISTENCY IS PERFECT USING THE SAME MEASUREMENTS FOR THE REST OF THE INGREDIENTS. BEFORE BAKING, I SPRINKLE BROWN SUGAR ON TOP. THIS RECIPE IS THE BEST, THANKS!
