I'm 32 years old and live in central GA. I'm a teacher and my husband is a banker. We have one child, a girl, plus a dog and a cat. We joke that if we ever have a boy, we'll be the All-American family. :P
Green Chile Chicken Soup

I came across this recipe because I was looking to recreate Carrabba's Sicilian Chicken Soup. While this wasn't exactly a match, I tried it anyway. I have to report we both really liked it (my husband really, really liked it - he had two bowls for lunch!). It's nice, creamy and super easy to make. We both like that it has a bite to it. Speaking of bite, definitely don't skip on the chiles - it makes the soup. And don't be shy with them, I put in just the half cup, but a little more wouldn't have hurt. Thanks for the recipe!

French Toast

I followed this recipe loosely because I didn't have the nutmeg or vanilla. So to make up, I used some brown sugar instead. I used thick pieces of french bread, melted some butter with my brown sugar and mixed that with my egg, milk & cinnamon. It was really wonderful, thanks for posting! P/S Medium-high started to burn my toast, so I reduced to medium. That just might be my stove, but everyone watch their toast just in case!

Made this dish for the second time this weekend for a party of 12 20-somethings. They all loved it! The only change I made was doubling the amount of garlic..it really cut down on the shrimpy smell & added a bit of kick. Thanks for posting it!

Another 5-star rating here! The only change was using sharp cheddar cheese instead of mozz cheese and it was great. I imagine just about any cheese would be wonderful and would be a fun way to change up the recipe. Thanks for posting!

Loved it! I used the ingredients but just eye-balled the amounts. I also boiled the corn instead and added the butter topping while it was still warm. Thanks for posting this great recipe...I'm going to put it into rotation now!

Hot Corn Dip

Wow, I just loved this recipe! I did cut everything in half as it was just my husband and me, so I only used one can of yellow corn. I thought it tasted great that way, so I imagine with the white corn it's even better. I didn't soften the cream cheese, but did dice it and stirred halfway throught the cooking time. I have to say the dip got better with every bite. I will definitely make it again, thanks for posting!

5 stars all the way! It really is so easy and super delicious. I gave them as holiday treats and I've already been asked for the recipe by two people. Thanks for posting it!

Michelle's Blonde Chicken Chili

I printed this recipe over three years ago but just found it in my recipe folder. I whipped it up and can I say WOW! Until this one, I had yet to find a great WCC recipe. But this one is my fav now -- I just love the green chili flavor! Also, the second time I made it, I accidentally added too much chicken broth and realized it also would make a flavorful chicken soup. Just replace the beans with any bite-size pasta or rice. Thanks for posting this great recipe!

Christmas Punch

I made 60 servings of this punch for a July 4th BBQ we had this past weekend. While I found it good tasting, I have to give it only 4 stars because it wasn't quite flavorful enough. I had two others try it before I served it and they all felt it was missing something. After some tweaking, I realize that Sprite or other lemon-lime drink worked better than the (IMO) bland carbonated water. Thanks for posting the recipe though, I will definitely use it again!

I used this recipe, but changed it up a little. I didn't add the bacon and instead included shredded cheddar cheese. I made the dressing according to the recipe and it turned out wonderful. Thanks for posting this great recipe - it's a new favorite of mine!

Simple and yummy recipe! I had something similar - but far more complex - at a Thanksgiving dinner once and loved it. I'm glad I found an easier alternative. As the others did, I nuked mine for 5m in the microwave and cooked in the oven for 30m at 400. Instead of butter I used margarine. Turned out wonderful! Thanks!

Greek Pasta Salad I

My friend and I looked for a last-minute pasta salad recipe to serve for dinner. We both immediately pointed to this one and sent our husbands to the store with an ingredient list. Three hours later, this dish was the rave of our dinner! We only made a few changes due to a sparse market - we didn't include tomatoes or feta, used tri-color rotini and added shredded parmasan upon serving. Still great! Love this recipe and many thanks for posting it.
