fantastic! I freeze the leftovers, and when wanted, warm wrapped in foil and it is even better the second time around!

Penne with Spicy Vodka Tomato Cream Sauce

Instead of a sweet marinara sauce, I used a 28 oz. can of Contadina crushed tomatoes, 4 cloves minced garlic, italian seasoning to taste and dried rosemary. Also used 1/4 lb of small chopped panchetta. Excellent! Fed 6 hearty plates, no leftovers. Served with warm sourdough bread and salad.

Easy peasy, but cut sugar to 1.5 cups...still super sweet and comforting. :)

Crescent Dough Garlic Bread

I diced 4 small basil leaves in place of the italian seasoning and mixed all together with the butter drizzling a tsp of the mixture on top of each round...yyuuuummm!
