I fixed this recipe for a sick friend and her family. Her husband said it was the best Italian Beef he had ever tasted. I did cook it on low all day in my crockpot and it turned out beautifully.
My whole family loved this recipe--even my husband who claims to hate rhubarb.
My family absolutely raved over this recipe--even my picky eaters. I made a homemade top and bottom pie crust, (brushed with egg white) and added a diced, cooked potato and about 3/4 cup of shredded cheddar cheese to the filling. One of the best recipes I've tried from this site. Perfect for a cold winter evening. Next time, I'll make two and freeze one.
I have made this recipe twice for company and have been asked for the recipe both times. It is hearty and filling. Excellent.
My whole family thinks these are the best pancakes they've ever had! I have to agree. They are light and fluffy and easy to make. I'll never use the boxed mix again.
My daughter needed to make an Irish recipe for a school project. This one sounded easy and I went ahead and made an extra loaf for us while I was at it. I wasn't familiar with Irish soda bread, so I wasn't sure how it would taste. It actually wasn't too bad. We ate it the next day and it was nice and moist, although a little bland. Very easy recipe.
I made this recipe for a family July 4th get-together. Super easy and very good. I bought a large bag of pre-washed baby spinach and used a good bottled dressing and this salad was ready in minutes. A nice and different combination of flavors. Make sure you roast your pecans. Will make this again especially when fresh peaches are in their prime .
My husband says this is the best fettuccine he's ever had! I threw in some shimp, but otherwise followed the recipe exactly. Very good and easy.
We made this dish for a formal dinner fundraiser for our youth group. We served 200 people. I marinated the pork overnight and it was so tender you could cut it with a fork. The flavor was wonderful and we received many compliments and requests for the recipe. The only change we made was to add dried cranberries to the sauce for presentation sake. The cranberries plumped up nicely and were a great touch. I'll be making this dish for my family's Christmas dinner.
A delicious cookie and one that reminds me of the cookies you get in an upscale bakery. I substituted craisins for raisins and added an extra half a cup. I also added a cup and a half of chopped white chocolate. As I do with most cookies, I slightly underbaked these. I love the cinnamon flavor. Delicious!
