Delicious! I love the flavor - not too strong and the texture - chewy and moist. I had no problems with the muffins falling or being soft. I used rolled oats, maybe it is an issue when you use instant oats. Will be making these again soon!
Excellent summer dessert! I took the suggestion of decreasing the hot water so it set well and in good time. You can exchange the strawberries for mandarin oranges and use orange geletin for a nice change.
Delicious! The gingersnaps I used gave plenty of spicy flavor so I will use less clove and ground ginger next time. Nutmeg sounds like a good addition. I will use both nuts and oatmeal next time in the topping. Pears and gingersnaps... great combination. Baked up well, no extra juice for me.
Delicious! The pumpkin gives a sweet flavor. Turned out nice and thick and just the right amount of flavor. I did throw in a little curry powder.
Wonderful crust. So nice to have an alternative to the typical sugar cookie. The topping was easy to make and delicious. The only negative was the time it took to crush the pretzels. I will have to try the food processor next time although that may make the crumbs too fine. I liked having some crunch. This recipe is a keeper!
Surprised how delicious this tasted over spagetti noodles! I happened to have all these ingredients on hand and it came together very well. I used thawed butternut squash from my freezer instead of pumpkin. Used less coriander. Used less peanut butter because I thought it would overwhelm the other ingredients but it didn't. Strong orange juice flavor. Used less ham because I'm not a big meat person. Could cut out the ham entirely and it would be a delicious vegetarian dish.
Love this dish! I've always called it African Groundnut Stew. I like it thick so cut way down on the chicken stock. Added tomato paste - did not add potatoes. Eat over rice.
Good, easy recipe! Used leftover pineapple rings diced and sqeezed dry. (1 can crushed pineapple is too much.) When forming the cookie the dough was dry and crumbly but they baked nicely. Suggest more cinnamon. Made a second batch and replaced 1 cup quick oats for rolled oats.
Delicious and moist! I tried to stick to the recipe to give an accurate review. I only had 4 squares of bittersweet chocolate so used a little extra butter to compensate. I used 2 large eggs instead of egg substitute. I tried to toast the wheat germ but it was taking too long. Added a little coconut to the batter just because I love coconut and don't mind the extra calories.
Not a lot of flavor - I guess that is because of the oil instead of butter. Maybe using some brown sugar instead of so much white would help. Or add more vanilla? Still - it was a good, easy recipe.
Followed the recipe and they turned out GREAT! Love them. I did add a little extra sugar in my second batch. Don't pack down flour when measuring it. Used my kitchen aid mixer with dough hook to knead the dough. The dough will be sticky but just oil your hands when forming the buns. I baked in a deep dish round pizza pan.
Great, simple casserole. Was more flavorful than I thought it would be. If it looks too soupy just leave the lid off for part of the cooking time. Delicious way to use up a green pepper. I cut down on one cream soup but kept the full can of water/milk so that is probably why it was a little runny. It thickened up after sitting.
