Love this recipe. Used all the optional ingredients and will make it again. I agree that with my oven and thin asparagus, 6-8 minutes is perfect.
Loved it! Was uncertain about the almond extract, but made the recipe as is, and it turned out wonderfully. The almond really adds something special! Agree with other reviewers that it is even better after an hour or so for the flavours to marry.
Loved this recipe. I wanted to make teriyaki salmon, but forgot to buy the sauce. I had all these ingredients in my pantry and the recipe saved the day. Based on other reviews, I used slightly less water initially, but added it back as I found it thickened up without any problem. After tasting it, I added 1T of rice vinegar for more zip but that's just my preference.
