Thank you! First time making bbq and turned out great! Glad to use boneless ribs as it made it easier to remove the fat while shredding which makes me gag. Halved the recipe and used half beef stock n half root beer...half an onion too... drained juice before baking w/bbq...great!
Good. Used cream of chicken soup & half the sour cream, also threw in some real bacon bits. Also used cubed potatoes that had been thawed in fridge. As with others, added time to cooking. After adding 20 minutes in oven, taters still weren't done. Finally stuck dish in microwave for 5 minutes to finish. Will pre-cook taters next time. Kinda greasy (sopped some up w/paper towel) but good flavor. Seasoned w/Tony Chacheri's Creole seasoning-that stuff is great for anything that's slightly bland.
Good stuff! Used red taters + a little red pepper (don't like green). Crumbled up a couple pieces of turkey bacon and added in. Also threw in some chopped green onion and small pieces of tomato for the last couple minutes. I think the juice from tomatoes added a nice flavor. Will def make again.
Way to go! Had to cook a little longer than stated. Best I have made away from my charcoal grill. Thank you!
Fantastic! Used olive oil, added some Creole seasoning, paprika and jarred garlic with some of the juice. Threw into my nuwave flipped once. Probably cooked about 20 minutes total. Rubbed the oil mixture on a pre-cooked chicken breast and cooked with the fries. Great quick meal! I can see I will be doing this a lot!
Very good. I made open-faced and added in some mozzarella into mix and also on top before baking off to melt cheese topped on mix on hamburger buns. Used half bbq and half ketchup in mix as well as brown sugar for white. Added a little extra vinegar as mix was quite sweet. Will def make again but add some spice and cut sugar to make up for some of sweetness. Good as is tho!
Good but a little bland for my taste. I think with a little spice (some Creole seasoning maybe) and subbing out some of the mayo for sour cream it could give it more pop. Will try next time
As with another reviewer, used small 2-3# precooked ham in my small crock. Had to cut some off to fit. Diced extra into cubes for a salad later. Punched some holes in ham to incorporate juice, added brown sugar, threw in some crushed pineapple, a squirt of honey and sprinkled on a small amount of ground cloves. 4-5 hours later, ham was caramelized and delicious! Leftovers should be great sliced thin for sandwiches!
I love this! Added 1T of taco seasoning as others did, also added a can of Rotel with salsa and simmered long enough to thicken up before baking. Omitted olives. Was going to freeze some, but too good-never made it to freezer. Good leftovers to take to work. Definitely in my top 5 on this site. Thank u!
Yum! Seared roast first, subbed 1can beef broth for some of the liquid, added half a chopped onion into pot. Flavor delicious, meat fell apart. Only thing I would change is using a less fatty chuck or maybe a different cut next time.
Good. My 1st time making beans. Used small can pork n beans & small can lite kidneys, halved other ingredients. Drained beans first. Added a squirt of mustard too. Will be making again. Thanks!
