I prefer grilling or boiling, but this worked out alright! I have a 1200 W microwave and cooked 2 ears for 5 minutes and I probably should have only done it for 4. I do have a question regarding the footnote on the main recipe page... Is this person saying it's okay to use Aluminum Foil in the Microwave? :)
I modified the original recipe. I cooked 1/4 pound of bacon in a cast iron skillet. I then sliced the brussels sprouts after cutting off the end about 3-4 times and put them in a bowl. I put EVOO over the sprouts and mixed. I took the bacon out of the pan and drained off all but 2 TBS of the bacon fat. I then tossed the sprouts in the bacon fat and 3 TBS butter then cooked them for about 2-3 minutes on the stove top. I added the Maple Syrup and a drizzle of honey. Mixed well and then put the skillet in the oven at 350 for about 10 minutes. It was delicious but a bit different. I do thank the author of this original recipe for the inspiration to my final product.
I modified this recipe slightly. I cooked up about a 1/2 pound of real bacon, pulled that out of the pan then tossed in the onion and a small head of broccoli flowerettes (sp?) and cooked for a few minutes just to soak up the bacon flavor. From there I put all of the ingredients into the pie shell and baked and it was absolutely delicious!!!
The recipe is very easy to make and is delicious. I didn't have any Marsala wine so I used a Moscato and it was awesome!
I remember there being very small diced green peppers in the version from Subway. I added that and then when I served it (to myself) I always had them add s/p & v/o so I did that as well. It was fabulous!!!
This recipe is so easy to make and the muffins were delicious! Most and tasty. The only changes I made were that I used pecans because I was out of walnuts and I used paper muffin cups. Highly recommend making these.
Easy and delicious. I added a sprinkle of Dill which made it even more tasty.
I wanted to try fish in my new air fryer and didn't want to ruin a good fish so I went with the flounder and it was delicious! I used panko bread crumbs and it turned out moist inside and crunch outside. Highly recommend!
These came out delicious! I couldn't find round wonton wrappers or farmers cheese so I used square wonton wrappers and a combo of Ricotta & Whipped Cream Cheese along with the yellow potatoes. Definitely will make this again. Only wish that I had taken a picture we ate them all.
The eggplant came out delicious. What I did was cooked the eggplant in my air fryer, made spaghetti noodles, mixed that with some marinara sauce, then placed the eggplant rounds on top of the spaghetti and topped the rounds with marinara, fresh parmesan and mozzarella and baked in the over at 350 for about 10 minutes and then under the broiler until the cheese was browning and bubbly. Absolutely Delicious!
I modified this by cutting the bleu cheese with cream cheese and I added 1/2 of a pecan cut length wise. Then after wrapping in bacon, I rolled them in brown sugar. They came out delicious and the reheated well in the air fryer.
Has anyone made these in an air fryer? If so, how'd they turn out?
