i LOVE this recipe! my family always jokes about how much we love to use cream cheese in everything, so i was excited to try this recipe on them. it does have the richness of cream cheese, which my family loves, but may be too much for some. this has become one of our classic recipes that my husband always asks for when planning menus. love it love it love it!!!

SOOOO HAPPY with this recipe. it is, as all the other reviewers have said, THE REAL THING. even my california bred husband loves this recipe. you just have to know that it isn't your normal chili.

we really like this marinade- i actually used it on some strips of beef as well and loved it. it's not anything really unusual, just a good cook out recipe.

we LOVED this recipe! i made a couple of changes- i substituted broth for the water and canned biscuits for the mix for convenience and it turned out great. my only complaint is that it was a little too salty, but that was my fault- i should've realized that the broth would do that. if you use broth, don't add more salt until the end if you need it. i also used broccoli instead of peas, because my husband likes it better. we ate it two nights in a row (made new dumplings the second night). i really expected this recipe to be harder than it was. i'm going to my parent's house next weekend and plan to make this for them!

my husband loves this! i've made it twice now, and we've been happy with it. i love being able to use such a cheap cut of meat and have it turn out tender and moist! not to mention the fact that it takes five minutes to put together. i serve this with smashed potatoes and a green salad. the last time i made it it was a little too salty for my taste (not my husband's though!) so i added a little bit of sour cream to mine and it melted all into it and toned down the saltiness. it was a nice fix. thanks for a great recipe!

this was just okay. my husband didn't like it, but i didn't expect him to love it anyway. (not a big cottage cheese fan). my sixteen month old really liked it, but since he eats cottage cheese with pineapple in it already, i can't really justify all of the added sugar. i reduced the amount of jello by almost half and it still tasted very sugary. not a bad recipe, but i probably won't make it again.

Italian Bread Bowls

i was very impressed with this recipe. i've only made bread a couple of times, and this was SO EASY! i just made them this morning for the first time, and my family LOVED them. it tastes just like at a nice restaurant! i did add a tablespoon of sugar to the yeast and water, and i made four big bowls. i served "potato leek soup I" in them, from this site, and it was a hit! i will make this over and over again!
