In the past, I've enjoyed lemon squares made by a caterer. I followed this recipe exactly and they turned out perfectly. Will definitely make these again.
I used regular jam (not seedless). They turned out great.
This was surprisingly good and very easy. Will make again. I used boneless pork chops that were on sale. Lined a Corning casserole dish with half the sliced onions. The pork chops fit in a single layer over that and then sprinkled in steak spice, fennel, sage, and ground coriander. Covered that with rest of onions and the water. Put the glass lid on and baked as directed. Served with mashed potatos and caesar salad.
Made this yesterday and it turned out great! I rubbed the spice mixture on the chicken and immediately threw it in the oven. Next time if I decide on supper the night before, I marinade it overnight in the fridge.
I made the cake with 4 cups rhubarb, used brown sugar in streusel topping and omitted Vanilla sauce. It was easy and delicious.
