Everyone RAVED about these cookies, and I had to pass along the recipe to at least 5 people. I also just used half the cocoa pwdr. -- othher than that, I followed it exactly. Awesome cookies. Thanks for sharing!

These were very chewy and moist. I made them for my neighbor who has 4 kids, and she said they were all gone in about 2 days. That's a good sign!

Can I give it SIX stars please?? I have to agree with everyone on this... I have made this so many times now, I can do it with my eyes closed. EVERYONE wants the recipe, and I have NEVER heard a single complaint. I don't change a thing, other than I toast my almonds in a toaster oven with a little butter and salt... I do the same with the sesame seeds. And once in awhile, I use orange-flavored cranberries (Craisins) -- but really, it's the dressing that makes this salad. And I make it exactly as it says to, and it comes out perfect every time. It's a regular thing in our household now! :)

A bit gooey/casserol-y for me, but good comfort food on a cold night. Of course, I live in Phx., AZ so there aren't many cold nights. :) I think it's a better dish for those of you who live somewhere cold! :)

This was very, very good. The only thing I changed, is I used capers in place of peas. I'm just not a big "pea" person, yet I love capers. It turned out great -- the dish was a hit with the whole family, and I will definitely make it again. Thanks for sharing!

Chocolate Spice Cake

This was a very moist spice cake, but I think its name is misleading -- it's not chocolaty at all. You could probably leave the shaved chocolate out of it altogether and it might not even make a difference! I used buttercream frosting, but didn't care for that -- I think I'd use choc. frosting next time just so the cake lived up to its name a bit more. I'm not saying it wasn't good -- my husband really liked it! But it waas a spice cake, not in any way a chocolate cake. So, just be warned. :)

This was okay... I think I didn't cook them along enough, and they were still a bit pink inside. But, that's my fault. also, there was way too much butter. I did broil them at the end, which was probably smart, but, I don't know that I'd make this again. Sorry.

Everyone loved these! I had to change it slightly, b/c my husband doesn't like cheese (i know, can you beleve it?) so I added butter and light sour cream in its place. I also left out the jalepno pepper, and used yellow corn instead of white, b/c that's what I had. it was colorful and tasty -- we've made it twice! Even my 7 month old baby eats it up and says "yummm!" after each bite. You KNOW it's a hit, then! :)

Apple, Beet and Avocado Salad

Very yummy! I made the mistake of putting it on the same plate with mashed potatoes/main entree and the beets/dressing turned the potatoes pink. It was kinda funny -- so my suggestion is to make sure you keep this salad on a plate by itself! The taste was really good --- nice combo. of ingredients. Very pretty, too. I used canned beets, which were way less of a hassle and just as good. Thanks for sharing!
