This was great! Everyone loved it. I had to change a couple of things because I had run out of some ingredients... so, instead of soy sauce, I used 1/2 cup of "jerk" marinade from the store. I also added fresh lime juice from 1 key lime, and 2 Tbls. of terriyaki marinade, too. Oh, and, I didn't have any jalepon peppers, so I put in several dashes of cayenne pepper instead. We put the breasts on some great buns with lettuce and tomato, and had the best jerk chicken sandwhiches we've ever had -- we'll definitely make it again!
This was really easy and very good -- I used both canned and fresh mushrooms, plus fresh parsley and dried parsley flakes -- it turned out great. We'll make it again!
This was a hit. I added orange zest to the batter, and some ground pecans as well -- other than that, I followed the recipe as it was. Everyone agreed it was moist and delicious! More of a coffee cake than a dessert, in myopinion... so, we ate it in the mornings for breakfast. Yum!
Very good indeed! Added 2 bunches of baby carrots and several small white potatoes about half way thru the cooking time... turned out great! Not a shred left -- we ate it all in one sitting!!
Came out a little soggy, but great flavor. Did need salt, too.
This was really pretty good! The topping was aweomse, and the cake was a little dry, which is why I'm not givint it 5 starts. Overall, though, a nice change from just plain old chocolate cake.
This was good, but I didn't think it was to DIE for like so many other people said. I'd make it again, but there are lots of other great marinades out there, too.
Too sweet for me... but if you like sweet/lemon flavor, you'll like it!
This was a lot of work for what turned out to be pretty much an "italian casserole" of sorts. My husband was unimpressed, and although the flavor was good, it was just too much effort with too little pay off.
I made this cake twice in 3 days, it was SO GOOD! The only things I changed were as follows: I didn't have coffee flavored liqueur, so I used Baily's. And, I dusted the whole cake with powdered sugar just for looks. Other than that, I did it as I was supposed to, and as I said, I had to make it twice in one week -- it was loved by all! A definite keeper. Thanks!!
A unique flavor -- I'll make it again!
Pretty goo! I made a "gyros" sauce to go with it, too -- if you really like the "gyros thing" -- I suggest making this to go with it: Mix some plain yougart, light sour cream, fresh mint, garlic salt, chopped cucumber, scallions, and tomato together. Put this over your burger. Voila! Pretty good, if I do say so myself. :)
