Very good, my family really enjoyed this dish.
I was skeptical about this one but tried it anyway. I only had iceburg lettuce and green leaf lettuce on hand. I tried the iceburg first... tasted great. We decided to grill more and used the green leaf lettuce. It was just okay. I am looking forward to trying it with Romaine. I used montreal steak seasoning, olive oil, and drizzled balsamic vinegar. I topped it off with freshly grated romano cheese. I will definitely make again in the future.
This was a very good recipe. I changed it up just a little: I added about a teaspoon of black truffle butter when sautéing the onion, used a white velveeta cheese, and added more garlic than it calls for. When it was served, I shredded some smoked cheddar over the top. Everyone loved it!
This recipe is great and I did minimal modifications. I used 2.5 lbs of crab, 3 lobster tails, 3 lbs of shrimp and a lb of andouille sausage. I added more file powder and fresh garlic. I feel that there was just enough meat in this dish that you got some in every bite. I will definitely make this again. Thank you for sharing this recipe.
