Tiger Sand

I am a mother to two beautiful girls, Paxton (8) and Addison (4). I have been married 9 years to my loving husband, Tristan. My husband was an active Marine, until 2001. I was a working mother until we had our youngest in 2003. i stayed home until 2006. I am now working full-time so my husband can finish school. I never really had to work within a budget before, and now i do. i also have to think of meals that are easy and not so time consuming. I actually have been doing most of my cooking on the weekends, and add a side here and there through out the week. my girls love to help me, and i encourage them to do so.

My whole family enjoyed this one. I felt like while making it it needed mushrooms. I added pepper, and hot sauce to the meat while browning. This wasn't cheesey enough for my gang, so next time I will add a layer of cheese in the middle with the meat.

My clan really enjoyed this.(and my husbands boss loved the leftovers for lunch) We thought that next time we would add two packages of gravy. We also added mushrooms because we love mushrooms, and when I served the dish, I sprinkled shredded Cheddar Cheese on top! YUMMY!

African Chicken Stew

It was very Sticky and not very smooth at all. My Husband and his friend like it a lot when they added a little tabaso sauce. I think instead of potatoes I will use turnips, to give a sweet taste. I'm going to try it one more time. I would take the suggestion to add 2 cups of chicken broth and cut the peanut butter down to 1/2 cup.

This did not have enough crab for my clan. I don't think I will make it again. It just didn't suit us. But thanks for the recipe. I'll keep looking for that crab salad, recipe.

This was pretty good, there is a lot of dill in this and I advise to cut back. I made this for a family picnic and it was a big hit. I think I will add some shrimp or crab meat to my next batch, to kinda make it a meal on it's own, with some bread.

This was not bad. It was mighty dry, I used Miricle Whip and it added a little more zip. i also used sweet relish instead of dill pickle. It worked out fine.

this was very moist and tender! It was really good over rice. I think that I will add some cut up onion and some mushrooms. My husband really enjoyed coming home to this after a day of hunting in the woods! Thank you for the recipe.:)

This was super easy to make. We just added another child to our family and super easy meals are what I've been looking for. I did take an earlier suggestion and added a layer of cheese between the meat mixture and tater tots. I also browned the meat with some onions, some Dales seasoning and tabasco. My 3 year old loved this so it is a real keeper!

This was really good. Not only was it easy my husband made it! He did however, use a can on manwich bold and spicy, that he opened up by accident, in place of one of the cans of soup. He also grated some mild sharp chedder cheese into the pot and mixed it up! It was great! I LOVE quick easy, not from a box suppers! My husband said he was going to add mushrooms and corn next time, because he thinks everything should have mushrooms and well a veggie would be nice! I have emailed this to all of my working mom's in my address book! Thanks!

I was given the job of making the Broccoli Casserole, since the one that makes it every year had to go to another house for Thanksgiving. I remember her telling me a little of what was in it, but could not find the recipe. I found this one and it was it! I actually liked this more because it has some seasoning! Great THanks!

I saw this and had to make a note. My husband does something very simliar to this, but will a few nice additions. First you need to "ice" the loin for several days, then you need to soak the deer loin in milk till the milk is clear, you don't want all of that blood in the meat. You need to pour off the milk then add more several times to get the blood out. I generally do it twice a day for 3 days. It helps remove the game tast as well. Then marinate the loin as listed. After that take the loin and slice it down the middle, place green onion and mushrooms(fresh or canned) then wrap in market thick bacon. You may need toothpicks to hold it together. Grill. We serve this up with what you would a steak. This is wonderful! I hope this helps! We are actually fixing this for Sunday Dinner this weekend. I don't add as much vinegar as they suggested, I do it by taste. Some like it tangy others don't it is up to you.
