I grew up in a rural setting where living was simple and quite primitive. Through my childhood I learnt to cook in the outdoors, bake and roast in simple methods.

Baking became my favourite thing to do when I was a teenager and took it to a different level by selling what I baked. My passion for cooking grew after I was married; experimenting new recipes whilst still loving the traditional goodies.

Yummmmmmy!!! It is really delicious! Instead of using canned chicken and beef broth, I made my own and it turned out excellent. The mashed potato and peas are just perfect on the side. This is a truly magnificent recipe. Thanks!

Burrito Pie

I used a tortilla as the first and last layer and an oven-safe plate on the pie and baked for the first 10 mins or so, to give the stack some weight. It turned out the fillings were just about to overflow and the melting cheese... The sight of it made it even more delicious and everyone just suddenly grew hungrier! We also had some sour cream with it to tone down the spice. We've had this over and again and we still love it! The best burrito sandwich ever!!! THANKS!!!!

This is a great lemonade. It was a little too sweet so I had to add more lemon and water. On the whole, everyone at the party loved it. Thanks Jo.

Yummm! This was a big hit at the party! It's easy to make and great to eat. I used a bit less shredded cheese than prescribed and it was very good. Definitely a make again recipe! Thanks Debbie.

Smashing! I used a blend of white and dark brown sugar and the result was one that no one at the party could resist! I'm sure this will be our home-cinema snack as well. Thanks Sue. The second time I made this, I added a tablespoon of butter and popcorn has never been crunchier!

Apple Enchilada Dessert

Fabulous dessert indeed! No cornstarch was needed, neither was the syrup runny. I only used a tat less water. I let it sit for a while before serving and it did the trick. Since it's meant to be a sweeeet dessert, it wouldn't make a difference using a drop less water. I cooked my own apple filling, chunky, with very little sugar. I ran out of cinnamon so I used nutmeg. It still turned out beautiful. All the sweet syrup compensated the sourness of the apple filling. BEAUTIFUL. Next time I'll try puff/filo pastry. Thank you ReDonna.

Pretty good. Rich and creamy. Next time I'll try dried apricots instead of raisins.

My sticky-date-pudding-loving Aussie husband says he's never tasted a sticky date pudding quite as AWESOME as this recipe. I had no evaporated milk so I used condensed milk and fresh milk, and the sauce turned out YUMMMM!!!

YUMMYLICIOUS!!! I skimmed nor changed nothing in the recipe and the stew was just magnificent!!! I used the remaining stew for pie filling the next day and it was simply out of this world!!! Definitely a keeper; stew or pie!!!

This is a FABULICIOUS recipe! My husband and I like fish a bit more lemony so I doubled the lemon juice. It turned out PERFECT. However, I will cut back on the oil but nonetheless, a definite keeper!!!! Thanks Norma!

Baked Salmon Fillets Dijon

Very GOOD! I added a tiny drop of honey into the mustard. I made my own crumbs using old regular white bread; sat in it the oven for 2 mins during preheating process, then roughly minced it in a mincer. As I love crumbs, I piled on 3 layers of them, each after drizzling some melted butter. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM...
