I remember eating this at brunch on base when my dad was in the service. Overall, we enjoyed it! I bought the packaged lunch meat to save on cost. Next time, I would probably soak the meat in water and pat dry to reduce the salt a little bit. This is an easy recipe for a busy night!
This recipe is super! I especially like the fact that it uses common kitchen ingredients, so you don't have to buy a whole bottle of an item when you only need 2 tablespoons. I followed other reviews and and omitted the salt. We had Dijon mustard and I added a small amount of honey. Marinated for a couple of hours, drizzle marinade in dish, 400 for 15 minutes, 350 for 30 minutes. Cover with foil for about 15. Delicious and great for guests!
Simple & tasty! Don't change a thing and make sure to use some of the pan drippings for gravy. Next time, I'll take about 15 minutes off of the time. I cooked a 3lb. roast, 2 hrs. and 15 min. Will only cook it for 2 hours.
Didn't add red pepper and used minced fresh garlic. Skipped the blender and everything was nice and easy. Good flavor and will use again. This recipe makes quite a bit and will cover plenty of meat.
Really great flavor and very easy. Used it for the Party Size Couscous Salad on the site. Yum!!
My family loved this recipe. A couple of tips- between making the sauce and stopping to baste every 10 minutes, this will take at least an hour to cook. Definitely not a dish if you are in a hurry! I may cook the chicken for a few minutes and drain before basting to rid the dish of juices next time we have this.
