WHATS4DINNER

I'm a stay-at-home mom who's slowly had to teach myself how to cook well through trial and error since getting married 8 years ago. My poor family have had to be my guinea pigs, but now that I'm getting better, I think they don't mind at all :)

This was so easy, and it made the roast so moist and wonderful! My family loved it!

My family loved this recipe! I substituted the beer with Ginger Ale, and it turned out great. Thanks for another family favorite!

I give this 4 stars and really liked it. My husband hates Mayo and said that it was too strong in this recipe. He gave it 0 stars!! Maybe I can find a good substitute next time, so he'll like it more...

Vegan Split Pea Soup

This is a great recipe. I always hated split pea soup. I think it's the ham that I really hate in it. This turned out fantastic. I added lots of potatoes, and it really needed quite a bit more water, but it's fabulous.

Unbelievably Awesome Barbeque Chicken Pizza

I thougth this was fabulous! I left off the onions (family preference), and I sauteed some mushrooms and added them. It was sooo good! I used the "Pizza Dough II" recipe from this site and cooked it alone for 10 minutes, then added toppings and cooked it for another 7 minutes. The crust was thin and crunchy (I only had a cookie sheet to bake it on), and it was awesome! My whole family loved it! Thanks for a great recipe!

Pizza Dough

This was sooo good! I took others' advice and did 1 full cup of wheat flour. Since I'm not a huge fan, I think next time I'll stick to the recipe, but it was still awesome! I baked it on a cookie sheet for 10 minutes on its own and then added the "unbelievably awesome bbq chicken pizza" toppings and cooked it for another 7 minutes or so. It was amazing! I've never cooked pizza before because I thought it would be too hard, and I'm not a fan of the traditional home-made pizza crust. This was thin and crunchy and amazing, though! Definitely a keeper!

Fabulous French Loaves

I LOVE this recipe! I make it all the time for family get-togethers, and people are always asking for the recipe. I never use sesame seeds, and I only cook for 25 minutes (I bake both at the same time and switch after 15 minutes). The inside is so soft and wonderful, and the outside is perfectly crusty! I do usually end up using about 6 1/2 cups of flour instead of 6, though, because I hate kneading dough that's too sticky. It turns out exactly the same...perfect!

Caramel Popcorn

This recipe is awesome. My family likes caramel popcorn to be a little sticky, so I don't even bother with the oven at all. It comes right off fingers thanks to all the butter, so clean-up is easy :) Thanks you so much for a wonderful recipe. We use it at least once a month!

Easy Sugar Cookies

This is a good recipe. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars and not 5 is because I don't really think they're "sugar cookies." I would call them snickerdoodles. I was looking for a real Valentines, roll-out-and-use-cookies-cutters recipe. They're great snickerdoodles, though!

Wonderful crust! I use this all the time for chicken pot pie as well as during the holidays for pumpkin pie and banana cream pie! YUM!!!

This is now a family favorite! I never add the water, however, and it's pretty soupy even without it...We also leave out the bell peppers, but that's just a personal preference. Thanks for the great recipe.

Blackened Chicken

Way too spicey. Too much red pepper for only two breasts. And definitely not enough cooking time, so while I was prepping for 10 minutes in the oven and had all the other food ready to go, it actually took about 22 minutes, and the rest of my food got cold. Please be accurate in listing the time for busy moms who have hungry babies waiting for their dinner. :) (Not that they ate it anyway...way too spicey for the little ones.)
