I have just been told (6/13) I need to switch to low carb in a serious way. I love most things white, sweet, crispy, salty, plus a diet soda addict. Also there are now just two of us and I always seem to overcook in quantity. I love my three chihuahuas, of which one is a rescue and my favorite - don't tell the others. I have many cookbooks. Some of my favorite include my Grammy's gift to Mom a 1918 edition of Fannie Merritt Farmer's Boston Cooking-School Cookbook (sentimental), The New Best Recipe Cookbook (explains why choices of ingredients or cooking methods were chosen), and the ever basic Joy of Cooking.
