Excellent recipe. I halved the recipe and followed some previous reviewers tips by using butter & sugar for the ramekins, making ahead and refrigerating and bringing to room temp before baking at 430 degrees for 10 minutes. Huge hit! May leave in oven a few more minutes next time as I prefer a little less liquid in the middle. Thanks for sharing.
Great easy recipe! I used fresh tarragon and as I didn't have any unsalted butter on hand, just used salted butter and omitted adding any salt. I stole an idea from another recipe by arranging on a 12" piece of plastic wrap, leaving 3" at either end and rolling before refrigerating. This way made it easy to cut into nice size 'pats' for serving on top of the steak. I will use this recipe again and again!
This was amazing! I followed the recipe as written and covered for last 1/2 hr as per another's suggestion - although I don't think it needed it. The chicken was very moist and flavourful. I don't normally like roasted potatoes but these were superb. This is the first time I've pulled something out of the oven that my husband has said it looked so good that it should be in a magazine. Thanks for sharing this. Will definitely make again!
This was a wonderful recipe for a cheap cut roast pork. I halved the recipe and only used 1/2 of the pepper called for (only because I am not a big pepper lover) and cooked a 2 pound roast. Simply delicious and so juicy. If it is this good with a cheap roast I'm anxious to try it on a good cut. Will be making this again.
