Everyone loved this pie. I used very ripe pears and a sugar substitute. I also added cinnamon to the egg mixture. I will make this again.
We loved it! I used ready made OPA Feta and Dill yogurt dressing instead of making my own yogurt sauce and it was perfect.
Mixed in an Italian cheese blend with the cheddar and small dollops of fresh pesto. Doubled the recipe to fill to pie shells and both came out great. Rich but tasty! Will make again as I am inundated with tomatoes.
I used Publix bakery pizza dough, letting it rest for an hour and then putting on an oiled cookie sheet, flouring and rolling out. I prebaked crust for 5 minutes. I only used half of the cream cheese. Baking the full 20 minutes. Delicious!
I used almond flour and no walnuts. I used about a 1/2 cup of the honey. It turned out very good with consistency of my mom’s halva recipe.
Delicious and easy way to use up leftover rice. Used stevia instead of sugar and turned out great!
