these were tasteless! they weren't sweet enough. it tasted bland as if i was just eating flour.
i followed Rolanda's tips on making sure the butter is creamy soft and using 2 teaspoons of vanilla instead of 1. THE COOKIES WERE AWESOME! they were sweet! although they did get pretty hard after they cooled, all you need to do is pop it in the microwave and warm it up again to get that warm chewy straight out of the oven texture :)
FINALLY! Finally I've found an icing recipe that's not too sweet and still very fluffy. Perfect for cakes that need icing that doesn't overpower the taste of the cake itself. Yes, I could have used plain whipped cream but it's too bland without the vanilla pudding. :)
