This is quick & easy & delicious. Everytime I serve it for guests they ask me for the recipe
It did make gravy but the dish was bland, next time I would zip it up with some spices, that would probably change the rating!
I added seasoned salt also & it was still rather bland. It was too soupy after cooking on low for 6 hrs, I added more cornstarch and cooked on hi for another 1/2 hr longer
I made in a 2 1/2 casserole dish, it didn't get quite done in the middle. The taste was great however, and next time I will put in a 11x13 dish. I like the other reviews & will use the suggestions also.
Very good & easy, my husband even liked it and he is not fond of squash! Would make again.
very good and easy, just what we need at this time of year! Kids loved it!
Instead of garlic blubs I used bottle pureed garlic I had purchased from Williams Sonoma. This is a very good recipe! I had a 4 lb roast & used my convection oven, 425 degrees for 20 min. then 325 for 1-1/4 hr for med rare.
everyone loved this recipe, I made ahead earlier in the day and put in convection oven after taking out the prime rib, baked at 350 for 15 minutes.
I thought the dressing could have used a little pizzaz, next time would maybe add something to spice it up.
the sauce was great, I would probably make more next time as others have done.
Made with the Easter ham,I eliminated the bacon because of that. I don't know if that is what made this bland tasting. My grandkids loved it tho' I would definetly spice it up next time.
I served this at a work potluck for 40 people I adjusted the qty but it was a huge hit I should have made more . After reading the reviews I used less oil, it would have been too oily had I not. Also use mandarin oranges, I also toasted the almonds and tossed with sugar at the end of toasting to give them a sweetness.
