Made this not really knowing what it was supposed to turn out like or taste like. It ended up being very delicious! I will definitely make it again next time I have a party or guests over. It was very time consuming but in the end was worth it.
Loved this Quinoa recipe. I don't like raisins and used dried cherries instead and it was still very delicious! I love cooked onions and may have added a little more than the recipe called for and added a dribble more broth. Next time Ill still add the extra onions but keep to the recipe for the broth amount I had leftovers the next day for lunch and it was just as good the second time around. I will definitely make this again.
This was good, easy to make. I used a lot more mushrooms and skim milk instead of the heavy cream. Next time Ill add a few more spices, it needed a little more kick. My boyfriend really liked it so it'll enter the rotation.
It was good. It turned out to be a little more labor intensive than I had planned on and we ended up having to cook it quite a bit longer than the recipe suggested. If I were to make this again I would definitely take some suggestions on how to spice it up, it was kinda bland though very filling.
This was widely liked by all of my guests. I did use an entire red and orange pepper as well as added more milk to make it a little more saucy. We put it over rice and it worked great. Ill be sure to make it again!
I did as others advised and made extra to freeze. They were delicious the first and second time around. I was hesitant to make them at first because of the combination of sweet with the beans but couldn't have been happier that we tried them. Don't skimp out on any of the spices the combination is perfect!
Even my meat eater liked this! It was easy to make and had a good little kick. Perfect for lunch or dinner.
I made 4 large calzones instead of 8. They turned out gigantic and yummy. Two things I would do differently next time is make sure I had some red sauce/marinara for dipping and I would definitely add mushrooms and onions to the mixture. I will also stick to the recipe about making 8 as no one could finish the jumbo versions. This recipe could easily be altered to anyones preference.
I did enjoy this recipe however, there were some issues. First of all it definitely takes longer than 25 minutes. Next, it did need some increases in the flavoring/spices department even with the orange zest it still was missing a kick. Overall, it was pretty good but I think it could have been better.
I shared this recipe with my mother and she said her and my father just loved it but, when I made it...something must have went wrong. I felt the black bean flavor was overwhelming and they were too moist. If I try this again and yield better results Ill be sure to update my review, in the mean time I am disappointed to say I wasn't a fan.
So, the word dumplings might be a little misleading. Yummy delicious feta stuffed biscuits is a little more like it. These were a big hit when I made them. I used egg beaters, light sour cream and fat free yogurt and they still tasted awesome. I recommend these as a dinner roll or breakfast biscuit! Yum!
I had never made baklava before and this recipe was easy to follow and it turned out delicious! I will absolutely use this recipe again!! So good, I brought it to work and it vanished!
