I enjoy exchanging recipes and talking about cooking with others who share the passion. I don't get a chance to cook much, but when I do, it turns out fairly well. I don't eat any meat, but that doesn't hesitate me from cooking it for others!

Dipping Sauce for Artichokes

Rating: 4.5 stars 32
A boyfriend's mother taught me this great dipping sauce for artichokes and asparagus. It's somewhat like aioli. Replace dried basil for fresh and garlic salt for the garlic. If you do use dried basil, cut the original amount in half. Use low fat mayonaise if you like.

Spaghetti Sauce

This is your basic marinara sauce. It's quick and easy. So much better than anything store bought. I have made it so many times. If you'd like, a lb of ground beef, pork or sausage can be easily added. If using meat, season it with pepper and garlic salt. Can be easily frozen for later use, up to 3 months.
