This was excellent. I used 2 turkey breast tenderloins totalling a little over 1 1/2 lbs but kept all of the other measurements the same - we like strong flavors. Even my 2 year old devoured it and she rarely eats meat. Thanks for the recipe!
We really liked this. It is a refreshing summer salad and something a little different. The only changes I made were to add a few minced garlic cloves and a little salt. Yummy.
Very good cake. I don't know if I'd say it was the best cake I've ever had but it was really good and very easy to make. I'm not a big cake fan but this is more like a brownie cake. It's a great cake to take to a party since it doesn't need to be refrigerated and it's dense and slices easily. Plus it's easy to make it look really pretty by dusting it with powdered sugar and adding fresh berries.
This was very good. My husband said "it's a keeper". You definitely need to let the marinade and sauce sit overnight. Neither of them tasted good at all right after making them but after the flavors have blended for a while they taste much better. As other reviewers have mentioned, the sauce does have quite a kick so you'll have to like that - I thought it tasted like there was horseradish in it but I like that.
This was excellent. I didn't change a thing except that my peppers didn't take quite as long to broil...maybe 15 minutes. I considered adding mozzarella as some others suggested but I'm glad I didn't. The taste was delicious and I liked that it was 'lighter' then other lasagnas that can be too rich from the ricotta and mozzarella.
These are awesome. I've made them a few times and this last time I left out the hazelnuts and threw in some white chocolate chips to the dough instead. Otherwise, I follow the recipe exactly.
This is a great recipe to make with kids. Not only can they help add and mix in the ingredients but it's especially fun having them form the balls and roll them into other ingredients. We add rice krispies to the mixture (adds a nice crunch) and roll the balls in oats. YUM.
Really good! Followed recipe exactly.
This was good and would be a nice side dish for a mexican meal, I always have a hard time coming up with side dishes for mexican meals. I only used 1 can of black beans, used a green pepper instead of red, and didn't use the green onions and I doubled the dressing. Will make again.
LOVE these! ***update: this year I made a bunch of cookie dough and froze it in advance of the holidays then thawed out the dough and baked everything. Maybe it was a fluke but this is the only dough that did not work for me after being frozen. The cookies would just NOT cook inside. The outsides would seem done and I'd cook them for way longer then necessary and they still would be raw inside. So, it may just be that this dough does not freeze well.
This is a staple at my house in the summer. I don't know about 'unbelievable' but it is very good and healthy too. It's also good to serve to company since it's pretty non-offensive. And the leftovers are great for sandwiches or chopped up in salad. I use dijon mustard instead of coarse grain.
These are AWESOME. So impressive yet SO easy. Doesn't get any better then that! I used ghiradelli chocolate.
