Comfort food to the max! Great with a salad on a cold winter night. Substitute some of the cream with milk or water for "lighter" base. We have some in the freezer most of the time. I spare the salt but am generous with the black pepper. Works with escarole too.
Tried these for Thanksgiving dinner with rave reviews. Should have made more as my famous corn bread was no match.
This is by far the best pizza dough. It is tender and chewy, yet it cuts easily with no tugging. I won't be making any other dough in the future.
This recipe can’t be beat. It makes a rich, denser bread. I’ve used the batter to make 4 giant muffins, baking for 40 minutes. I also use, softened butter rather than melted, and added 3 bananas rather than 2. I also add 1tsp baking powder. Try substituting the walnuts with dark chocolate chips!
Moist. The combination of rich chocolate and banana is irresistible. Can easily be a cake or cupcakes.
Nice texture and presentation. Peanut butter layer was too sweet even with low sugar peanut butter. Next time, I’ll try less sugar and a little more peanut butter.
