Absolutely wonderful!! I did make a few changes like some reviewers had suggested. I used 8 oz. cream cheese with chives, added a touch of cayenne pepper, evaporated milk instead of water (it had to be used up), added onions and used crab meat instead of shrimp (had it on hand). I also used Spaghetti Squash instead on Linguini which I think made the dish. As I do not measure ingredients, I guess I made it my own recipe. My husband loved it as so did I. Will definitely make this again!
I made muffins last night. No one tells you that you need to spray muffins cups before! Now I know. If you do not, you loose half of the muffin. Also, went with 1 cup brown sugar and they are still too sweet. Will try less the next time. I also went with almonds. Other than this, they are delicious.
I agree with everyone!!! These are absolutely wonderful. The only way I will cook brussels sprouts from now on! I do half them and cook them for only 30 minutes. Delicioso.
I am the creator of this recipe. 2 tablespoons dried does not make 2 tablespoons ground. Here is a change that was not posted....I ground the rosemary to make 2 tablespoons ground. Try doubling or tripling the rosemary to get 2 tablespoons. Enjoy!
This has got to be the best pasta salad I have ever made. I use quinoa pasta because it is gluten free and healthier. There are so many variations one can do with this salad. I have been making this at least once a week. Yum :)
It is just OK. Will I make this again? NO. I think it would be better with just a little butter and the peppers....nothing more. I like simplicity. Why cover up the taste of perfectly good vegetables?
I used chicken broth and left out the bullion because it has MSG which is not good for ones health. I did not add the noodles since they are empty calories. I might add some Quinoa noodles the next time. It is delish without the bullion. Simple is good.
I am the author of this recipe. The only thing I ever measure is the water and rice so I had to more or less guess on the quantities to get this recipe on paper. I was using white vinegar and then switched to apple cider vinegar because it was on the counter. They are both good. I suggest you bring the peas and carrots to room temperature.
I wanted to like it but the fennel was too overpowering.
