These are SO easy to make, and are a huge hit. They can be rich, but are tasty. I normally do Hershey bars instead of chocolate chips but both work.
This was super tasty. It did take an hour at the stove stirring, and it never boiled but it did thicken. I replaced half of the half&half with with coconut milk also. Would have given it 5 stars if it didn't take so long standing at the stove stirring the filling.
So easy to make and use. I haven't tried it as a double recipe but using it as a crust for a custard pie it is good. Last time I used it, it did poof, so I suggest pricking it with a fork if you are doing a pre-baked crust.
Soggy, bland, greasy. No real flavor. We might try again, but I was not impressed. Like others have said, it is easier to just buy some from the store.
In the words of my fiancee "these are soooo good!". First time making chicken wings, and these were super easy. The hardest part was cutting apart the chicken wings because the ones I bought weren't cut up, but I got my fiancee to do those. We made 36 wings, and just doubled the recipe. I am making these again next weekend and will add more hot sauce to make one mild (this version) and one hot. Also used a Fry Daddy fryer, and only had to cook for 5 minutes. But then I put the wings in a pan in the oven on warm while the next batch was cooking.
Super tasty. I didn't evenly distribute the caramel over the popcorn, so we had super caramel and light caramel, but it worked.
WONDERFUL! I made this for Thanksgiving 2010, and everyone raved how good it was. I wish I had remembered to take a picture before it was gone, but will next time. Can't think of anything to change, and loved that the top didn't crack like most of the cheesecakes I have made before have. *Update* Made this again for late Dec. 2010. Used the limited edition Gingerbread Graham Crackers for the crust, made it even more tasty. If you can find them I suggest trying those since it compliments the pumpkin spices well.
This bread is WONDERFUL. Really easy to make by hand, and tastes great. I made it into a loaf, but want to try rolls at some point as well.
Worked very well with our pre-made hamburger patties. I will use some garlic powder next time to give it a bit more flavor. Also, after I let the milk mixture cool, I added the yeast to it and let it sit about 10 minutes until foamy as others stated. Worked well.
Good tasting, but the pork we bought was hard to pull apart. I think I will try it with different cut next time, and more BBQ sauce.
Dough was very dry while mixing, and then when it finished it had dropped down in the pan. Will not try it again.
Very upset with this bread. After spending the past 10 days getting ready to make it, I was confused by the recipe (the starter says to pull out 3 cups of mix and use the rest, but the directions say to only use 1 cup of mix), it only filled 1 pan, and the sides/top burnt (I mean BURNT to black) and the inside was still runny. Will not use this again. I hope to try the starter with one of the other recipes on here.
