Very good recipe--make sure if using natural almonds to roast before putting in the sugar mixture, and cook until the sugar mixture evaporates as explained in the other reviews.
Very interesting flavors! I had fresh pineapple which I crushed with a potato masher. I also didn't have onion powder, so I minced a little red onion for some color. Served with crackers although I'm sure it's even better with French bread slices. Next time I will choose smaller garlic cloves. Nice find! Thanks!
