My family loved these and so did I. They cooked up so golden and crisp. My older brother went back for seconds! Thanks!
I absolutely love this. Smooth and not too sweet. My family was waiting for the bitter aftertaste that often comes with our brewed tea but this was perfect. Thanks so much!
I liked these funnel cakes! They were great and definitely something I would make again. They were crisp but chewy in all the right places. I dusted with powdered sugar and cinnamon sugar. Thanks so much!
This was delicious! The entire family enjoyed it. My young nephew has phenylketonuria (PKU), a condition that restricts the ability to consume protein on varying levels. He cannot have meat or many dairy products because of it. He's a picky eater at times, too, but he loved this! That feat alone deserves 5 stars but the flavor was great as well. Thanks so much!
This was delicious. My family adored it. My mother was surprised when she saw me using cream cheese in a savory sauce. I added various spices to taste but I tasted the original result first. I will definitely make this again!
I made this cake exactly as instructed and, while I find it to be delicious in its own way, it doesn't taste like a honey bun. I think that the cinnamon dominates the cake. It's a good thing I love that spice! It reminds me of a coffee cake more than anything. I will make this again, but next time, I won't use a packaged cake mix. The generic flavor of it took away from the great potential of this cake, in my opinion. Completely scratch made will be the way to go with this recipe to make it superb. But if you're in a pinch for time & just want something good to put on the table or take to an event, this will do fine. I made mine in a greased & floured bundt pan and it came out absolutely beautiful. Thanks so much!
This is delicious! It glazed my cake so beautifully and I topped it with white chocolate chips for a wonderful contrast. I will definitely make again. There's no need for expensive tubes and canisters of frosting; this is all you need.
Absolutely wonderful! I have made this cake twice to date-once for a church function and once again today for a family Thanksgiving celebration-with superb results each time. I didn't quite like the idea of using all these ready made ingredients so I altered things a bit to make it my own. I omitted the sour cream and pudding mix, choosing to make a homemade chocolate pudding(1/3 cup cocoa powder, 1/2 cup white sugar, 3 tablespoons cornstarch, 1 cup half&half, 1/2 cup water, 1/2 cup milk; made in the microwave. 3 minutes initially then in 1 minute intervals, stirring for 2 to 4 minutes between cycles) instead. I also reduced the vegetable oil to 3/4 cup. The chocolate chips were a mixture of milk and white because I wanted a sweeter flavor and greater richness (semisweet don't melt as well as the other chips). Divine when paired with a white chocolate glaze (Satiny Chocolate Glaze from this site using white chips instead of semisweet). I grated some white chocolate as well as placing whole chips on top of the cake. The contrast is beautiful! This cake will be a star among all events I attend requiring dessert. Thanks so much!
I made this for my family a few days ago and they absolutely loved it. I dredged the chicken in flour and cooked separately as some other reviewers suggested; also, I added a little cornstarch (mixed with water) to thicken the sauce a bit. Added the chicken in with the sauce after both were finished cooking to let the flavors meld. My brothers devoured this is one sitting. Thanks!
I can't keep my hands out of the container! That's bad because this was supposed to go in my Christmas tins! :) This fudge was so simple and delicious. Other reviewers spoke of the fudge being a bit too dark for their tastes, so I adjusted the recipe to fit my family's sweeter tastes as well. I used 1 cup semisweet morsels, 1 cup milk chocolate morsels, and 1 cup premier white chocolate morsels (all from the Hershey's brand). Excellent recipe, thanks so much!
Absolutely delicious. The only change made was to substitute 1/2cup of butter for part of the shortening. I put these in holiday tins for my friends this year. Everyone raved. Thanks so much!
This was a delicious icing that I colored rainbow and used to top matching rainbow cupcakes. However, I still felt that it was missing something. The taste was good (though I could still detect a hint of the powdered sugar's flavor), but the texture left something to be desired. I will tweak next time but this is acceptable in a pinch like I was. Thanks so much!
