I don't know why I haven't rated this before! I have used this recipe so many times! Everyone (even non-mushroom people) loves this. I am asked to make it all the time, my husband gets offended if I do not make it for him when I am taking it to a party or something! A couple things I must note: do not skimp on the butter, and when you are serving these, spoon the butter over them before plating them!!! mmmmmm! And I have tried other brands of stuffing and I think it doesn't work as well, so stick with the Stove Top.
This was really yummy! My family loved it, I didnt have green onions so I used vadalia, and walnut instead of pecans...I wonder if it would've been better as the recipe said? I will follow it next time, as I will be using it again.
I made this for a friend who had just had a baby, she said they were licking their bowls it was so rockin' awesome! I loved it and as soon as the temperatures start cooling off I will be making this, I am going to attepmt to make my own tortellini next time though, soup is expensive to make! Definately a meal in itself!
This is the very best tasting icing I have ever had! I will never use another recipe! It taste so buttery! And I do not even like icing!
This really is AWESOME stuffing!!! I love it, and so does my whole family...the turkey gets neglected during the late night raids to the fridge for leftovers to eat this! I have tweaked it a little, it is great like it is, but I really think my tweaks are an improvement! #1. I bake my own bread, then cube it and toast it a couple days before, so it can stand out to get hard. I use 1 2lb loaf of whole wheat, and 1 1 lb loaf of white wheat. I use 2 granny smith apples, fresh herbs, and A LOT more stock (Also, It is fabulous with real sage pork sausage) I will never make any other recipe for stuffing! (my family would kill me if I did)
These were great! I will put them into my rotation! Stayed good in my cookie jar! I used the wax paper one of the reviewers recommended, worked great, no wasted dough!
Never got thick. Looks like scrambled eggs.
Almost the pie I have been yearning for, I will attribute it to user error, or sentimentality, a lady who is now in Heaven, made the best cherry pie!!! I have wanted to duplicate it an this is the closest I have ever gotten! will make again! I used Northstar Cherries, that I picked. Too sour to eat and I cut the sugar a little as I wanted it tart.
