Veggie Burgers

Pretty good first veggie burger experience. They didn't have a whole lot of flavor and were mushy, but at the same time, they aren't supposed to taste like a hambuger at all. Only comment I have is, instead of cooking them on the grill, I just did them in a skillet because reviews said they would fall apart on the grill. The flour created a good browning surface and I was pleased with how they turned out in the skillet. Not my favorite recipe, but still a great recipe to try for something new!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Milkshake

I decided to give this a try, even though I could not see how the ingredients would give a satisfying milkshake. If you act like this is simply a smoothie, I still have a few suggestions. Like everyone else, I agree that less peanut butter should be used. I would also suggest to crush up the ice in the blender or using another method before adding the remaining ingredients, because I had a hard time getting a smooth texture. Aside from that, I would prefer the texture with ice cream, but the flavor with these ingredients was pretty good.

Portobello Mushroom Burgers

Excellent recipe! Followed the directions for the marinade exactly and the mushrooms had a great flavor. I grilled on each side for about 6 minutes, and even though the four mushrooms varied largely in size, they were all juicy and flavorful. I didn't even add any extra toppings besides a little season salt. I am only a medium mushroom fan, but with the bun, provolone cheese, and marinade, this recipe is definitely a keeper!

Rice Pudding

This recipes needs some help. I only used half the milk (2 cups) and I baked for an extra 10 minutes (50 minutes total). With these two small changes, it is a very easy recipe that uses ingredients that most people have on hand and is very good!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

These are absolutely fantastic! I only made the following small notes: half butter and half shortening to give more shape, left out the cocoa powder since I didn't have any and I didn't want the cookies to turn brown, baked 9 minutes then let sit on cookie sheet for 10 minutes outside the oven. I thought this recipe looked delicious and it definitely did not disappoint!
