We loved this! I grow jalapenos, so I am always looking for new recipes to use them in. The best part about this dish is that you can customize how spicy you want it to be. It is pretty spicy as is, depending on the brand of chili powder and hot pepper sauce you use.
Wow was this ever good! I left out the hominy and used fresh hot peppers out of my garden instead of canned. I froze half of this (without the garnishes on top) that way we have an istant meal for later!
This was really good, and easy to boot! I make two and freeze one for later!
Good, quick weeknight dinner. You could always add more vegetables if you wanted more.
Wow! This was good. It is a lot of work to put together, but it is worth it. In fact, I make two when I make this and freeze one. That way, I can have lasagna later on in the month by just popping it in the oven!
Yum Yum Yum! Throw it in the crockpot, forget about it, and have a fabulous meal at dinner. My favorite kind of recipe! I usually replace the water with beef broth, and also add sliced pepperoncini to the crockpot to give it an extra kick.
My husband made this while I was at work. The only thing we changed was to add a little more pecans. We both really like this recipe, and my husband DOES NOT COOK, so that tells you how easy it was!
Very good! Two things I changed. I added less water, and when the meat was done, I took it out of the crockpot and mixed cornstarch and water together and added it to the gravy to thicken it. Whole family enjoyed this!
My husband thought this was fabulous. I liked it, but it isn't one of my favorites. There are a lot of steps involved. I think you could cut down on the work by buying premade honey mustard sauce.
This surprised us. It was really good. My husband thought that the meat mixture would be good on its own for a chip dip.
Loved these. I make Pico de gallo all the time since I have fresh tomatoes and jalapenos in my garden. I did cheat a little with this though. I hate flipping tortillas in a pan, so I assembled everything and baked them in the oven. It worked out much easier for me.
I know I am in the minority here, but I didn't really care for these. My husband who is a pork lover only had one serving. They were just bland and the breading was soggy.
