It tastes authentic, almost as good as eating at our delicious local Indian restaurant owned by a family from northern India.
I used 1/4 sugar and 1/2 cinnamin called for on the topping and the muffin was still quite sweet. They "tasted like more" though the rhubarb was somewhat hidden by the sugar. Also, muffins were difficult to remove from greased tins. Very moist even two days later.
Muffins are very moist. I substituted 1/2 tsp fresh lemon zest for lemon extract.
The balsamic vinegar was overpowering.
Tasty. I added 2 cloves of garlic to a half batch of marinade, blending all ingredients before adding to fish.
My husband and I thought these were okay. Our daughter thought they were WONDERFUL!
The nutmeg didn't work for our tastebuds and the muffins seemed dry.
Delicious! They have hearty flavor and use far less sugar than many other recipies so I feel good about giving them to my daughter.
I substituted V-8 peach/mango fusion for the orange juice and made 24 mini muffins (baked for 10 min). The muffins were delicious! We'll definitely be making them again.
