Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Mushrooms

These are delicious, and so simple to make! I actually took them to a breakfast carry-in this morning, and they were a big hit. I used the large "stuffing" mushrooms, though - and next time I would use the smaller button mushrooms instead so that they would be more bite-sized.

I used 4 c. milk and 1 c. water, and tossed in about 2 T. of creamy peanut butter for good measure. Fantastic!

Sooooo so good! I was out of chocolate chips so I squeezed in some chocolate syrup instead. Very moist and quite tasty! A definite hit with family and friends.

I baked this in a covered casserole dish at 250 degrees for 2.5-3 hrs and it turned out great! The oregano and thyme added a nice extra flavor to an old classic.

Alabama Fire Crackers

Fantastic... and addictive! These have become my most-requested contribution to carry-ins. Over the years I have only tweaked the recipe VERY slightly (trust me, these little suckers are so incredible, they don't NEED any tweaking!) -- for those who have a bit more of a taste for the spice: (1) I use two 10-oz packages of oyster crackers instead of saltines. (2) Bump up the oil to 2 c. (3) Double all spices, including dressing mix. I have used Italian dressing mix on occasion, if I run short on ranch - equally tasty, maybe just a little less zing. I make this so often, I actually keep a screenshot of the ingredients on my phone so I always have it with me! :)

Herbed Potato Soup

This has become my go-to base for potato soup. It's great as-is, but this is also the perfect starter recipe for the addition of cheese, bacon or veggies... however you like your potato soup!

Strawberry Cream Cheese French Toast

Fantastic. I used Texas toast and low-fat cream cheese. Already dreaming up different fruit variations... I'm thinking raspberries and blueberries would work great, as well! Excellent recipe.

Hillshire Farm® Sausage Alfredo

This was just okay for me. It’s a decent base recipe, but it definitely could be jazzed up a bit... perhaps with peppers and maybe even a second meat, (shrimp or chicken?) to give it a jambalaya feel, keeping with the Cajun seasoning. It had good flavor but was really nothing more than a Parmesan mac and cheese with sausage.

Absolutely delicious. I cut the recipe in half as breakfast for two and it still worked beautifully. I also added a few green onions and finished it off with an egg wash before baking. It’s almost embarrassing how easy this is, for how wonderful it turns out! Will definitely be making this again.

California Clam Chowder

This is FANTASTIC. The only "adjustment" I made was to stir the bacon into the chowder instead of using it as a topping. Absolute perfection. Thanks so much for sharing this recipe!

Omgosh… I will never use store-bought garlic bread again! I sprinkled the cheese with a little crushed red pepper before putting it back in the oven. Perfection!
