I followed this recipe perfectly, used my crockpot and the chili turned out like a soup, way too much liquid. If your going to try this recipe I suggest you only add about 1/2 the tomato juice, see how it looks and if you need to add more.
I never had much luck making french toast for my daughters so I wasn't sure how this would come out. It ended up being delicious & super easy to make. I'll definitely make it again.
This is the first time I've used Rhubarb and I'm really happy I picked this recipe to try it in. I thought the sauce was absolutely delicious & so did my husband & 10 yr. old daughter, my 6 & 4 yr. olds liked it but complained they didn't like the rhubarb pieces....they always find something to complain about though so next time I'll chop the rhubard instead of slicing it so the picky ones won't even notice it. Excellent recipe!!
Great base chili, I did add corn & extra spices. It was very bland without the extras even with all that garlic. But it's kinda nice to have a good base recipe you can put your own spin on. I love the idea of substituting lentils for beef. We aren't vegetarians but we are trying to get away from the idea that we have to eat meat 7 nights a week.
We're not vegetarian but my family including my picky 6 yr. old daughter really liked these tofu slices. I didn't freeze the tofu overnight but did put it in the oven for 15 minutes at 375 to dry it out a bit before slicing. It was really tasty, and not mushy at all. I will definitely make it again.
This is one of those recipes that is absolutely perfect as is, no adjustments needed. It tastes great and is super easy to make.
These were good, but as a mom with 3 school aged children they were not worth the time they took to make or the mess I made making them. I was also left with alot of extra filling. If you are considering making these buy at least 2 packages of phyllo dough so you can make extras.
I really liked this recipe, great side dish.
Simple but special recipe. All 3 of my daughters liked it. Fast and Easy to whip up for playdates & teaparties.
Pefect Recipe, needs no altering. Everyone in my house loves it including the children. Love that I can make this soup earlier in the day(BEFORE the kids get home from school) refrigerate it and whip it back out at dinner time.
I liked it. I made it with 4 serrano peppers but next time I will add more (like the cook recommended) and leave some seeds in to give it more heat.
I made it just as followed. I thought it tasted great and welcomed the sour cream instread of the usual ricotta. What I wasn't crazy about was the appearance of the slices of provolone cheese, when the piece of ziti is cut. The melted provolone slices looked gross to me. Next time I'll leave the provolone out.
