Served this for a spur of the moment cocktail party. Eleven miles from the nearest market, so, used baguetts and parmesan. It was a big hit.
followed the recipe exactly. Water did not mix well. The last servings were very watery.
I don't like to comment unless I follow the directions and ingredients. I did with this one and, well, I just don't think the flavors mixed very well. The chicken was very tender. Maybe too much mustard, maybe walnuts rather than pecans,
I followed the recipe. I don't like to write a review when I have made changes. I would like a little more sauce and, if I make this again, the pepper flakes and garlic would be better stir-fryed with the meat to give the meat more flavor.
Loved the salad. Husband thought it a bit to spicy. Followed the dressing to the tee. Added about 1/2 cup of Birdeys's Mexican veggies and put the salad into a fried tortilla shells and instead of croutons, some fried strips of tortillas. Excellent!
This was a great weekday summer recipe. I used a slice of banguette toasted on the grill, rather than a bun. And a Love the dressing from "Southwestern Ceaser Salad" put some of that on the bread before the chicken. Red onions, lettuce, cheese and bacon... My husband thought he was eating resturant fare.
I prepared this for my son's birthday breakfast before a day of 4-wheeling. Wish I had read the reviews ahead. Recipe sounded wonderful and it looked beautiful, but, very bland. Living in a casino town, I have many weekend guests and love good brunch ideas. Maybe some roasted green chiles or Bird's Eye southwestern veggies.
Love this recipe. Sauce is wonderful. I wanted a little more sauce. Made a slurry with a cornstarch and 1/2 cup of chicken broth. No leftovers so, I will have to make another batch.
I love anything with pasta and bacon. But this really needs a bit more sauce. You must be very careful to turn off the heat and get the sauce on the pasta once you stir in the cheese.
My daughter-in-law suggested a salad with cranberries for Christmas dinner. So, I tried this one and it was great. Following a review, I did add about 2 tlb of cider vinegar and used a very small red onion.
I followed the recipe to the letter or I would not comment. I only meal my husband and I can sare is brunch on Saturday and Sunday. So, always looking for something new. It was fluffy, but way too much tast of the baking mix. On to looking for another brunch idea.
