Great shortbread cookie to make for those who are not really to keen on "super sweet" cookies... they really do melt in your mouth, would be a great cookie for a refined party... easy to make too!!!
Were very yummy but the dough was horribly messy and impossible to cut with cutters... we ended up taking a chunk of dough and twisting it into little candy cane shapes as a last resort so the kids weren't dissappointed... Still gave it stars though because perhaps I did something wrong... I think maybe I needed to chill for longer than the time indicated in the recipe :(
Very easy to make and not sticky at all... tasty and easiest gingerbread cookie I ever made!!!
I make mine the same way (except the sugar)... I prepare it all the night before and put it in the refrigerator, and the next morning I just add the water and turn on the slow cooker. When I get home the house smells wonderful and dinner is READY!!!
I don't even bother making other kinds of french toast or using other types of bread, this is too delicious... I've been making this for probably 8 years or so and people are always amazed at how wonderful it is... I've never tasted a french toast better than this, not even at restaurants. I have even made this late at night when I had a sweet tooth before... kids get super excited when I tell them I am making french toast in the morning or when I surprise them in the morning with this for breakfast!
Made this using canned potatoes and carrots and it tasted great!
You will never make the traditional sweet potatoes again after you try this recipe! I did add mini marshmallows to the top at the request of the kiddos and it was AMAZING!!!
Followed directions exactly and this was a HUGE hit with the family, I plan to make this for Thanksgiving again this year!
I added a pound of bacon to this and it was AMAZING! I liked this a little more on the chunky side, so I only blended about a quarter of the soup as apposed to half. This was a very filling dish, perfect for a cold rainy or snowy day :)
Made this for our annual company chili cookoff and won first place! I added an extra can of chili beans (kidneys) and a can of tomato sauce. I also chose to use 2 poblanos (no seeds) for the chili peppers. I added the extra ingrediants to take the heat down a bit and it really worked well.
