I put in less sugar and more zucchini, to make it a bit healthier for my 3 year old. You can also shred your zucchini and freeze it to use through out the winter. Bottom line, very good recipe that I'll use for the rest of my life.
Family favorite. I put the glass dish in the oven for a minuted while it's heating up and grease the dish with butter first. I also used cream of chicken soup instead of the mushroom soup. Also for the sauce I use a bit more milk to ensure there's plenty of sauce. MMMM good!
AMAZING!!! I changed the recipe alittle. I scaled it down to 10 servings, added 3 tsp minced garlic, and the rind from the ramano cheese to the boiling water. I used 3 sticks of butter and half of the cheese it called for. I didn't add any garlic after I mashed the potatoes like it called for, the garlic flavoring was already there from the garlic I added to the boiling water. I also didn't add any of the oregano. It was beautiful! I will definitly be making this for family get togethers!
I LOVE this marinade! The meat is so tasty and I will never make american style tacos again after making the recipe. I only make the steak with the marinade and the onion mix. I use bottled hot sauce, guacamole, and some fresh lime juice and that's all.
I used this recipe with zucchini instead of eggplant. It turned out great. I did like another user suggested. I sliced the zucchini, sprinkled it with salt, put it in a coriander, and let it sweat it out for 30 minutes. I then washed them off and dried them. I then followed the recipe exact except put the slices in a 450 degree oven for 7 minutes on each side. It was delicious. Would make a great side dish.
I gave it 4 stars only because it was a little heavy. Other than that it was delicious. I have a 1 year old and a 4 year old who both loved it. I added 1/2 tsp of paprika and a 1/4 tsp of garlic powder just as another review had stated. Very tasty, will make again.
Perfect, not too sweet. Very good!
Excellent soup. I put in pinto beans instead of chili beans, I also added about a 1/2 cup of sour cream at the end. My 4 year old and 2 year old also love it as dip for their cheese quesadillas
It didn't work for me either, had no taste. Nothing like gravy.
Very good. The dough is a little bland, even after upping the vanilla to 2 TBSP. I think next time I make them I will try the cheesecake or white chocolate pudding mixes as they have more of a flavor to them. But very chewy and soft, not cake like as others have mentioned. A very nice cookie compared to the dry hard ones I always get from family members.
The recipe is too bland as is. I added lemon juice and upped the mustard a bit. I left out the green onions as I will be adding onions to my sandwich. So, as is it is 3 stars with changes I would give it a 4.
