This cake is amazing! I have used it soo many times! I have also altered it to make an almond cake and a lemon cake. I substituted the cocoa for cake flour (which gave it a very spongy texture) and added lemon juice and grated lemon peel in place of the vanilla. I also used the cake flour and almond extract for the almond cake....AMAZING!!!
This glaze is perfect!! it drizzled perfectly over the bundt cake and wasn't so runny that all of it ended up on the plate rather than the cake. super yummy too!!
I loved this recipe. I did make a few slight changes though. I used a turkey kielbasa sausage and chopped it up. I also spread a little cream cheese in the zucchini before filling it, as another person suggested. Other than that I pretty much followed the recipe. It turned out great!
The first time I tried making this I followed the recipe exactly because I had never made tortillas before. It turned out to be a crumbly mess...SO I tried again. This time I almost doubled the amount of olive oil (used instead of lard) and water. I also added a teaspoon or two of baking powder. They turned out great the second time!
Oh my word! This is marvelous bread! I didn't have any bread flour, so I used all purpose. I also used only butter...no shortening. Simply marvelous!
This turned out pretty good the first time I made it. I pretty much followed the recipe except I added chopped onion to the meat while it was cooking. The second time I made it, it turned out even better. I didn't do the onions (my dad doesn't like them), I added onion and garlic powder, and a jar of mushrooms. Super good!!
This was absolutely AMAZING!! I followed the recipe exactly except I added some extra rum. I made it to drink while we made Thanksgiving dinner in the afternoon...I think that I have found my new tradition!! Thank you sooooo much!
These brownies were really lacking in flavor. I Made them exactly as the recipe said, and before I put them in the dish to bake I tasted the batter but it was super bland. So I added about a tsp of salt and then baked them. They aren't horrible, but I have definitely had better brownies. Wish I had stuck with a tried and true recipe...
OMG! theses are what I have been looking for my whole life! :) I made them exactly as directed except I baked them for about an hour at 300 degrees. thank you so much!
This is so good! I made this for breakfast and everyone LOVED it! the only things that I did differently were to only bake if for about 50 minutes, and I doubled the nut mixture. Thank you!
I'm sure these would have been amazing, but I baked them for only the minimum time suggested and they were WAAY over baked. I know that my oven temp is fine so not sure what happened there...they looked perfect before i stuck them in the oven! I'll definitely try them again!
This bread is AMAZING as is...the second time I made it I reduced the sugar by over half, replaced most of the oil with applesauce, and half of the flour I replaced with whole wheat. I skipped the topping to save even more calories. It was absolutely fabulous this way! I also didn't bake it as long as the recipe stated...
