Exquisite and ridiculously easy! I would recommend pounding the chicken, cutting down on the butter and oil (I used three Tspn oil and actually one scoop of margarine), threw some garlic into the oil/butter mix and doubled the marsala/sherry sauce. My boyfriend said it's better than any restaurant chicken he's ever had.
It's hard not to eat the entire thing right after it comes out of the oven!! I added a teaspoon of cinnamon the second time around. And make sure not to let the jam touch the edge of the pan!
A fantastic, healthy and fresh tasting side dish! I found I didn't need the whole quantity of corn and I used only one can of black beans - which was more than enough. Love the cilantro!!
I thought I did something wrong because I didn't have the heavenly smell during cooking... but it came out wonderfully. Mushrooms helped to bulk it up.
Wow - hearty and flavorful!! I grilled mine on a Foreman Grill - I would recommend cutting down the grill time and watching it closely to anyone else using a Foreman.
I took the advice of another reviewer and used green onion. While mixing it, I thought it needed more, sooo... I added 2 TBSP RICE VINEGAR - (heaping) 1/4 TSPN DRIED DILL WEED - (heaping) 1/4 TSPN GARLIC POWDER. Also, I cut way back on the mayo, using only about one big TBSP and just eyeballing quantities.
Delicious and cooked like a dream! For flavor, I added 1 tspn cumin and 1 tspn cajun seasoning; I also added some onion and garlic powder to the four mix. Instead of butter, I sprayed the pan and the chicken (before and after dipping) with PAM butter flavor. No stick, good flavor and yummy crisp.
I gave this an average rating because I screwed it up. A word to the wise: DO NOT USE BONELESS CHICKEN!! It dried up and was awful. Also, I cut the chili powder in half and it STILL blew the roof off!!!
A great go-to marinade for salmon. I cut the brown sugar down to 1 heaping tablespoon; cut the salt altogether; and used a lite soy sauce which still lent a salty kick. Baked in foil packets at 425 for 15 minutes - POIFECT!
Fan-friggin-tastic! Made it for my boyfriend's birthday party and non-cake eaters were taking seconds and thirds - and doggy bags. I took others' advice in using WHITE CAKE MIX and using 2 extra Tbsp of lime juice to the batter. The glaze is excellent (but you might not need all of it)! It baked about 40 minutes in a 9x13 in an electric oven.
I took the advice of others and let the chicken sit in the lemon juice for a few hours after pounding it. I also added garlic powder to the seasoning. WARNING: If you are using a George Foreman grill, do NOT cook the chicken more than 4-5 minutes per side! I made this mistake for the first two pieces and luckily became wiser for the rest of it. It came out tender with a very fresh taste.
Lots of alterations from reviewers.. I cut the oatmeal to 2 cups; 2 eggs; 1/2 tspn salt; added LOTS more coconut (and still don't have as strong a flavor as I'd like); used white chocolate and semi-sweet chips; baked 14 minutes. They're very good, but not orgasmic.
