This hot fudge sauce has no dairy, but tastes just like regular hot fudge sauce. Instead of using heavy cream and butter, it calls for coconut milk and Earth Balance Vegan Buttery Sticks. I make it for my daughter who has food allergies, and she loves it!

  • Place the coconut milk and margarine in a microwave-safe 1 qt. glass dish and microwave, uncovered on high just until boiling, about 2 to 3 minutes.

  • Whisk in the remaining ingredients until completely blended. Microwave on medium (50%) power for 1 minute. Serve warm.

  • Sauce can be reheated on medium power until heated through.
