1 cup butter (softened)
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a large bowl combine all ingredients.

Beat until the batter resembles whipped cream (about 10 minutes).
Step 4
Drop by small spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
Step 5
Bake 12-15 minutes until bottoms are golden.

Tips

These are best when made small and not over baked. They can easily be whipped together a day or two before you bake. Wrap uncooked dough tightly, and refrigerate. This is a classy, but kid-friendly recipe.
