We all loved it! So refreshing and different. My friend told me how good this recipe was and I waited a year to try it out. I'm kicking myself now. The only thing I did different was to only use 1 2/3 cup sugar, because punch has a tendency to get to sweet. We will definitely be having this at our next party.
Family seemed to like it a lot. I was a little disapointed, but over all it got a 4 star at our house. The first time I used the whole chicken. We liked it better went I used tenderloins or breat instead of chicken on the bone.
This was different and fun. I made oven roasted potatoes to go with it. I used Italian Bread crumbs and it gave a nice flavor. Also, added a shot or to of worcestershire to the "gravy". It reminded me of meat loaf on the stove top. We normally prefer something a little more complex, but this is good for a simple meal. I would NEVER make this for company.
Taste better than it looks. I wish the appearance was better. Even though I waited just before serving to toss dressing in, the salad still seemed soggy. Must be the pineapple. I drained it but you have to really have it dry. Everyone seemed to enjoy it. It went well with our Hawaiian style dinner.
I have been using the same Kahlua Pig recipe for 10 years now. I decided to give this one a try. I wish I had stuck to old faithful. It lacked flavor so in the last few hours of cooking I had to add garlic and fresh ginger. It save the whole roast.
I have been making my own ice cream for about 6 months now and this is the best recipe I have found. We LOVE it. It is better a few days later, seems to get sweeter and even more creamy. I followed the recipe exactly. I toasted Macadamia nuts and coconut and sprinkled on top for garnish. Try it you love it!
Love them thanks. This will replace my old cinnamon roll recipe that I have been using for 11 years. These are so good. What I like the best is the bun itself is so soft. A little sweet if anything, but that can be adjusted. Thanks for a great recipe.
Makes for a quick meal. I made following directions exact. My family was not impressed at all. Could be good if a few changes were made.
I have made this twice now for two different parties. Both times I was ask for the recipe. It looks and taste as if it took hours. Everyone is surprised how easy it is. I do recommend using the cheesecake pudding mixes or at lease one of them. Also, it is a great idea to stick the icing in the microwave for 20 seconds or so, then you can just pour it over the cake and you get this really pretty smooth top. Make this it is great and way to easy!!! love it
I'm from the south and thought I knew how to make a great glass of tea and did not know why you would need a recipe it make tea. However, after trying this I'm must admit I'm a fan. This is how I will make my tea from now on. Something about the baking powder make all the difference.
I did not like this at all. If you have never made a apple pie before you may be happy with this. But I had an awesome traditional apple pie recipe. I thought I would try this instead, just for something different. It turned out too sweet, more like Carmel apples. I also don't like the idea of the lattice top. It takes so much more time. Making apple pie from scratch ought to give you the right to just put a solid top on. Sorry this is just not my family's apple pie recipe. We like cinnamon to much.
As soon as I read this I ran into the kitchen and made it. I had 6 lemons that needed to be used ASAP and several cucumbers I had just picked from my garden. This is very refreshing and delicious. You must love cucumbers, however!!!! to like this it is very cucuberish tasting. My family really like it. I will make it again. All mine needed was a splash of water to dilute it a bit. Next time I will double the recipe, it is so good I need more.
